For our latest creation, we made a bit of a mess…
We tried making Paper Mache bowls. We had a lot of left over newspapers from a previous activity, so we decided to recycle!
We ripped up all the newspaper into tiny little pieces and added water to turn it into a pulp.
“Yuck…”
After ripping and wetting all the newspaper, we had to strain all the extra water out.
“Help me.”
“More!”
We then added some glue to hold it all together.
“Not enough.”
After adding the glue, we formed the mixture into a bowl shape.
“So sticky!”
“It’s a bowl.”
When the paper mache hardens, it is ready to paint!
“I like pink.”
“Like a rainbow.”
It’s fun getting a little messy sometimes!
