This week we used a giant foam circle to play games. There are a lot of things you can do with a circle!
The first game we played was a number game. All the kids were gathered around below the circle. We dropped the circle from high above, and at the same time a number was called out. If “Four!” was called out, four kids would have to go in the circle before it hit the ground.
“Ready…FOUR!!”
“Yay! Four!!”
We also played a rolling game. We tried to roll the circle from one end of room, out the front door.
“Go!”
We had a lot of accurate rolls!
We also did some jumping games. We had to jump through the hoop like a circus lion, and also jump over the hoop like an Olympic long jumper.
The kids had a lot of fun, and got lots of exercise! Let’s try some other new games next time!
