Good evening J2 parents!!
Writing:
Today, the students first reviewed what exact nouns are. Many of them remembered what they were after a couple of minutes. From there, we went on to designing sentences. They learned what the name part of the sentences are and what the action parts of the sentences. Forming them together makes up a proper sentence. When I told them that they have already done this many times in different classes, and gave them examples, they understood it clearly.
Science:
This evening, they learned about natural materials. Specifically, they learned about rocks. They learned facts that rocks can be used to build houses, baths, walkways, and streets. They also learned about the importance of soil, and how it’s beneficial for planet earth.
