Happy Thursday, everyone! Today in ACCESS, we had fun learning about dinosaurs!
We discussed how long ago the dinosaurs lived, what Earth was like back then, and how it’s different from today. Then we talked about different theories of what happened to the dinosaurs that caused their extinction.
Finally, we talked about how we know that the dinosaurs lived on the Earth when there are no dinosaurs alive today? Well, we have fossils, and scientists use those fossils to learn about the dinosaurs. Let’s see if we can make a display of a dinosaur skeleton like they have in museums!
First, we need a canvas big enough for a dinosaur skeleton.
Next we need to sketch out the different parts of the skeleton so we can see how it all connects.
When we had the whole skeleton sketched out, it was time to roll it up and set it aside to finish next week!
