This week we finished our weaving project. We prepared all of our materials last week, so this week, the students focused on how to weave and how to make a frame for their projects.

The teachers went over the ideas of “over,” “under,” and “opposites” so the students could remember when they were weaving their project.

Sometimes it was hard to remember which way the paper was supposed to go!

Everyone’s color choices and wavy line designs made different patterns.

It started out easy to weave, but as it neared the end, it got much harder.

In the end, the students glued the frame onto the front and cleaned up the rough edges to make it look really nice.

After everyone was finished, we all got to see the fun and different patterns they came up with.
