Hi! This is our last week for Access this year, let’s take a look at what we did today.
We have been talking about holiday celebrations, New Year’s Eve, and today we will be discussing New Year’s Day. How do people celebrate New Year? Do we all have the same ways of celebrating it? Let’s take a look at how people from the US or Canada celebrate theirs.
In the US, they have the Rose Parade, while in Canada and other cold areas, they have the Polar Plunge.
How about Japan? How do they celebrate New Year there? They celebrate it with Osechi, a traditional Japanese New Year food that has different varieties, each with a different meaning
Before our day ends, we wrote down our New Year’s resolutions. We hope to have a great 2024 ahead.
