Welcome to the new ACCESS Year.
It’s nice to see everyone again and very nice to meet new friends.
Today we did some art to introduce ourselves.
After drawing our full face on a large sheet of paper, we focused in on one half.
Students thought hard about what that half of their face looks like.
They looked in the mirror, carefully studying their own faces.
Do I have big eyes? Do my lips go up or down?
Students were careful to not overlook even the smallest details.
To make their faces stand out, they added watercolor paint.
They also made their names stand out by writing them in crayon.
