Hi everyone! Let’s take a look at what we did in ACCESS today. It’s a new month, which means we will also have a new topic and new things to learn. For this month, we will be focusing on numbers!
This week, we learned about the role of numbers. We explored time, including how to read numbers on clocks, and we searched for items both inside and outside the classroom that contain numbers.
In Japan, it is common to use a 24-hour cycle for time, which means the time is displayed from 00:00 to 23:59, while in other countries, they use a 12-hour cycle.
During the clock activity, the kids enjoyed reading the time and completed different worksheets. They had fun learning about time.
For our final activity today, we explored “Magic Numbers.” The kids learned a trick for guessing someone’s age and birthday using a calculator. It was a bit confusing at first, but they were amazed by how it turned out.
Well done, everyone! See you next week!
