March has come and with it warmer weather. That means it’s a great time to jump into the world of fashion.
First, we asked students what words come to mind when they think of fashion.
Models, shows, poses…
“If you were a designer, what pattern would your clothes have?”
“I want to have ABC letters.”
Stars were a very popular choice.
“Those are cool looking characters.”
There were so many different designs.
Students were next split into groups and told it was time to plan out how they wanted to use recycled materials over the next weeks to make an outfit.
Some wanted to shape the outfits like the clothes they wore.
Students also knew it was important to plan out the placement of their designs.
I can’t wait to see how these designs are transformed into amazing outfits.
