On Thursday, ACCESS will have an Easter party.
It was time to make some baskets in Art to collect the eggs.
First, we talked a little bit about Easter.
“What candy do you want to get in your basket?”
“I want gummies!””I want milk chocolate!”
Making an easter bag out of a brown paper bag is not the easiest.
However, with careful observation, it was a challenge the students were up to.
Students cut their bags, then rolled up their handles.
They watched the teacher carefully to be sure they were doing it right.
Then it was time to add some decoration.
Some students added flowers.
Others added grass.
No basket would be complete without some Easter eggs.
The baskets were finally beginning to take shape.
