Art is something you can do by yourself or with friends.
Today the whole class worked together to create a piece of art.
Before beginning, we made a list on the board of some ideas for themes.
Spring, cherry blossoms, small animals, school year ending…
Students discussed which ones they wanted and why.
We decided Spring as an overall theme would work well.
Next it was time for students to write down their indiviual ideas.
Flowers, bees, cherry blossom season… there are so many things we think of when we hear the word “spring.”
Each student presented their idea to the class and we found common themes.
Finally it was time to put all our ideas together.
We gave our work a title.
Little by little our artwork began to come together.
Today’s message, “Spring is nice.”
