Halloween is almost here.
That means it is time to get spooky.
Today, students began a two-week art project.
What did they make?
Today they made a spider.
“Do you want to make a big spider or a small spider?”
“I want to make a small spider.”
“I want to make a very big spider.”
Once students had their foil, it was time to get to work.
They began by cutting out the parts that would be their body and their legs.
The legs were then rolled up nice and small.
Attaching them to the body is where things started to get tricky.
It took a lot of focus to roll them up just right.
However, it was worth being patient.
Next week, we will create a background befitting of our spiders.
