Today in ACCESS, we continued with our Wednesday Social Studies theme of Magical Illusions.

After reviewing our target vocabulary, the students looked at a number of new optical illusions on the iPad.
These optical illusions tricked the students’ eyes into believing the images and patterns were moving in different directions.

The students were then placed into different groups to work together. The students were asked to complete a worksheet to brainstorm different ideas for optical illusions that they could create in the classroom using everyday items.

Lastly, the students took some practice photos using the iPads to see how their ideas may work.

Next week, we will continue with perfecting our photos to create the perfect illusions.
