For our Wednesday Social Studies today, we continued with our monthly study of Rhymes and Rap.
To begin the class, the students reread the book “One Fish, Two Fish”. After reading the story, we reviewed what a “rhyme” is and words that rhyme.
Next, we listened to a number of instrumental tracks to decide what track each class would like to rhyme over.
After listening to each instrumental, the students tried rapping the lyrics to the tracks to see which track fit the lyrics the best.
Lastly, we practiced rapping with the instrumental we chose and came up with our new rap group names.
