This week was our final July Wednesday study of Maps.
Today, we looked at how maps have changed over time. This included some of the first maps ever discovered. The students were quite surprised that the first ever documented map was made of stone.
We then looked at and discussed how the internet has changed modern maps.
This included the students using Google Maps and Google Earth to look at different locations.
Lastly, the students used their new Google mapping skills to locate different places around the neighborhood.
