In ACCESS today, we continued with our study of maps. This week our main focus was placed on our neighborhood, Gotanda!
During the class, the students looked at a map that showed many places around a fictional town. The students were taught how to read and locate places on a map grid.
Finally, we ventured outside to map our block around the school. We located many businesses in our neighborhood and what they offer. We also made our own original map key to associate with stores.
