As we are learning about the rain this month, today we learned about the “rain around the world.”
We learned the two words Typhoon and Monsoon.
Typhoon is a single storm wheras the monsoon is a whole season. Monsoon is brings a lot of rains which can last up to 2 months.
We also looked at the life of those people living in these areas. The transportation is hard as the car and buses cannot pass by. People have to walk on the flood. Some houses and even crops have been destroyed.
We have to be safe during typhoon and monsoon. We have to be inside our house to keep us dry and so we will not be sick.
Rain is also important for plants. They need water so they can grow.
Rains can be good or bad. We have to be thankful for rain and be cautious of it.
