For the first week of study of the big beautiful ocean, students turned their focus to the different layers and levels of the ocean.
From the sunlight level filled with vibrant colors and light and animals like dolphins and starfish, all the way down to the midnight level with almost no light and more menacing fish like the angler fish.
Students had fun beginning to create a large scale dynamic room display, starting this week on making the sea floor and midnight ocean waters.
Each week students will continue to add more layers to their room displays, and learn more about the depths and shallows of our five great oceans.
