Today we learnt all about impossible shapes. We began by discussing what makes an impossible shape impossible.
After this, we looked at a variety of shapes which are impossible to trace through only one color.
Then we decided to make our own Möbius strip! A Möbius strip is made from a single strip of double sided paper. We took the strip and folded it into itself to create our first impossible shape! This was so much fun because we had to think about how to fold the Möbius strip.
After we made our first Möbius strip, we decided to make a different shape! This was more interesting because it was more complex to make compared to the first Möbius strip!
