Continuing on with our theme of opposites, today we thought about being upside down. After learning the vocabulary, the class shared some ideas about what would be difficult to do upside down (like taking a bath or cooking).
We learned about bats; how and why they sleep upside down. And the students saw the painting of the Sistine Chapel. After learning that the ceiling was painted by hand, while the artist lay on his back, the students got to try some upside down drawing.
