Today in ACCESS, we continued with our theme of “All About Me”.
To begin our Social Studies lesson, we reviewed our previous weeks’ materials. We then discussed our friends in class and at school, and why we like our friends. We came up with a list of qualities we like in our friends. This is included words like: kind, nice, fun, laugh, and happy.
After our class discussion, we moved onto our poster making. Each group of students were given a letter to decorate with anything they associated with their friends and happiness.
Lastly, we displayed our posters and took photos with the most important thing in being KIND, which is yourself, “I”!
