Following on from our zombie theme, we looked again at the key details and made sure the children could remember the key vocabulary associated with the topic, or in access, be able to articulate their opinions on zombies and Halloween in English. We worked on the ability to highlight new and interesting words that could be applied to different scenarios, such as ‘terror’, ‘parade’ and so on.
After we familiarized ourselves with our current theme, we began to make ourselves into zombies, using the features we had seen and learned about. The students decorated eachother and the teachers, enjoying the opportunity to zombify the entire class.
