Today we discussed what a fossil is made from. We talked about the different animals that can be turned into fossils. We made a booklet that details the process of how fossils are created over the span of 10,000 years.
After finishing the booklet, we all made our own fossils from flour dough. We pressed our dough into a small circle and then we used toy dinosaurs to imprint into the dough to create our fossils! The students of access really enjoyed this activity and all produced amazing fossils!
