Jupiter 2 Social Studies
For the past month, the Jupiter Grade 2 students have been learning about Rules and Laws. They have discovered how communities are formed, the importance of choosing leaders, the laws in which they make and the responsibilities that rest upon their shoulders.
The students have had the opportunity to think about what laws they would make, and also imagined a world in which there are no police officers and firefighters. They came up with a variety of potential worlds, both serious and humorous in equal measures.
