We began the lesson talking about the acts we have seen so far this month: the Bolshoi circus’ horse riding, the Cirque du Soleil’s acrobats, and last week’s mimes. Everyone shared what was their favorite act.
Today’s focus was on animals and their trainers. I asked the students with pets if their pets can do any tricks. We discussed how animals can be trained by rewarding them with treats.
After watching a video about a real, professional lion tamer, the students tried to perform some tricks like circus animals.
