Today we learnt about the histories of the wheel. We learnt about how the wheels were first used until now. After discussing this, we then compared the size of small wheels vs big wheels. We thought about why some vehicles with different wheels are quicker than others.
After this discussion, we completed a worksheet that asks us to match up the different sizes of wheels with the correct vehicles. This was very interesting!
After this, we then did an experiment to see how many turns it took two different vehicles with different wheel sizes to compare. Everyone really enjoyed this a lot!
