Today’s activity focused on the five senses, particularly the sense of touch. The students learned about the importance of being able to feel pain, as some objects can be pointy and sharp, and therefore dangerous to touch. We also discussed how our sense of touch helps us detect extreme temperatures, which is crucial for our safety.

To make the lesson more engaging, we played a game called “What’s in the Box?” where the students had to guess the objects inside the box based on their textures – some were rough, soft, hard, smooth, or cool. The students had a blast participating in the activity!
