This month we are learning about workshops. There are many tools and equipment used to build all of the things we take for granted.
Last week we learned about tools that break apart, like the woodsaw that cut out the blocks of wood we are using. Today we looked at tools that bind together: hammers, nails, screws, and screwdrivers.
Finishing the last touches on coloring our animal characters, we used one other binding tool to build onto our blocks: wood glue.
The students attached bits of cardboard, string, and other pieces of wood to make ears, tails, and even feet to stand.
