Today for Earth day, the students up cycled some plastic bottles.
Did you know for plastic bottles, over 480 billion sold in 2019, are a major environmental threat. Despite recycling, only 9% is recycled, leading to long-term pollution. Microplastics from breakdown also pose health risks. Urgent action needed.
So today we decided to make them into something beautiful.

So we started by decorating the outside of the bottle with markers.

We got very fancy and used all the colors.

Then with the help of our teachers we could cut them into three different shapes, a spinner, a snake, or a jellyfish.
They really look pretty adorning the
school.
