Continuing last weeks discussion about how long a person is today we talked about how long our names are and the many different names in English.
To start we listed names on the board and checked similarities and differences between names we and our friends have.
Next we got our arts and crafts on to make our name graph of our name lengths.
We wrote our individual letters on cards and drew pictures that matched the sounds.
After that we pasted them on the graph and seen the different lengths. The average length and shortest names were four letters in our names. The longest names were five letters.
