In today’s ACCESS art class the students took an adventure in Japonesque art. Japonesque is just a fancy word to describe the influence and origins of todays lesson.

To start this art the students took Japanese paper and folded it at least 5 times.

Then we got ready to dip them into to very diluted paint, we even brushed some of our papers.

And then we tried drying them a bit before we carefully opened them.

In the end we opened up our beautiful art pieces and set them up to dry.

Some of the prints looked like butterflies, and flowers. It was a easy, breezy, Japaneszy, summer art.
