Today in Access Science, we embarked on an important topic and theme climate change.
Went over some vocabulary and watched a video about climate change.
One word we learned that stood out to the students was the greenhouse effect. It’s like Earth wearing a cozy blanket which makes things a bit warmer and causing strong weather patterns such as flooding.
Flooding, is where there is too much water and it covers the land. It’s like a big puddle that can happen when Earth gets too warm.
To end our adventure, we color cards and matched the vocabulary.
