Football is here! American football that is, and the season has begun in the states. Football is a sport not unlike rugby and soccer.
This Friday we brought students out for some good ole fashion football. We started off by teaching them the very basics of lining up at the line of scrimmage, and setting up plays.
Football is about carrying over the ball into our opponents end zone and scoring. It is a stop and go sport so there is a lot of planning and practicing that goes with it.
In the end we did a lot of one on one drills of dodging and ducking our opponents hands.
It was a great way to get us ready for this sports day weekend. TOUCHDOWN!
