In today’s fun fun Friday lesson, we celebrated Nelson Mandela.

In this  classroom experience known as the Nelson Mandela Lesson, students were divided into “Red Cards” and “Blue Cards” to experience unequal treatment based on color.

The lesson serves as a reminder of the importance of fostering inclusive environments and nurturing compassionate individuals who champion equality, with a ripple effect that extends beyond the classroom into the community, encouraging reflection and promoting empathy for a brighter, more inclusive future.

To brighten the mood we played a game to end the day. The lion needs to find the antelope and stay within the circle. It was really fun.
