Today we celebrated Australia Day by talking about Australia and the interesting things you can find there!
Students also played a couple of Australian themed games, like “Pin the Tail on the Kangaroo”, where students were blindfolded and had to try and match the tail to a kangaroo after spinning 10 times.
Access 1, 2 & 3 students also went to the park to play “Thong Throw”, a game from Australia where “thong sandals” are tossed from the foot toward a goal. Whoever’s sandal
is the closest to the goal wins!
