Today the PIP classes started making their very own Plum juice, using Japanese plums (ume), and sugar crystals.
Before we started, everyone took a trip to our local supermarket to buy supplies
Next, students returned to school and began poking small holes in to the plums, and adding them to a large glass jar, together with the sugar crystals.
Now we will seal up the jar and wait for the “magic” to happen, and check on our juice next month 😋
