Happy Thursday! Today in ACCESS we continued our study of desert ecosystems. We reviewed what we’ve learned about deserts this month, discussing animals and plants that can survive in the harsh landscape.
Then we talked about some of the dangers there are in the desert. You have to be careful out there! Steer clear of quicksand and don’t be fooled by a mirage, or you might get stuck out in the desert.
After talking about how to stay safe, we wrote a postcard from the desert. The students made it look like they were really there!
They wrote about going to the desert and all of the cool things they saw in the desert.
Time to put the postcards in the mail!
