Today we talked about all the insects, and bugs that we can see in the Summer. We wanted to catch some, but they were too fast!
So we did the next best thing, we made our own!
We drew colorful designs on our bugs to start.
“Like a rainbow!”
We made many sets of these so that we could make our bugs 3D.
I like pink, and blue!”
“What can I draw next?”
The next step was to cut, and assemble all the parts.
“Too small!”
The bugs had three different patterns to make them 3D.
“Which one do you like?”
To finish it off, we made a leaf for our bug to eat.
“A leaf is green.”
“Finished!”
Our bugs will enjoy the last few weeks of Summer before Autumn comes!
