Last week we put on our Thanksgiving play.
The goal of putting on the play was not to put on a perfect play, but to see what elementary school students do in the United States during the Thanksgiving season.
Students practiced reading their lines again and again.
These two turkeys took their roles very seriously.
“I see land!”
The pilgrims learned from the Wampanoag people how to catch turkeys.
The turkeys were shocked when they learned why they had been caught.
From start to finish, students got into position to read their lines.
December will also be a month of giving thanks.
