Today we talked about different kinds of animals, and then we turned them into art!


We had many colorful pictures of animals to look at, and we started our project by tracing them using a clear sheet of film.

 
“I like birds.”


“A long tail!”


“Many, many stripes!”


The next step was to make a colorful background for our animals. We used colored paper to cut out shapes, and then glued them onto our background sheet.

“Is this ok?”

“I like gold.”

“Not too small.”


After making our fancy backgrounds, we put the two sheets together.


“More glue please!”


“Too sticky!”

“Finished!”


What a masterpiece!
