Happy Thursday! Today in ACCESS, we continued our studies of the dinosaurs. We discussed how long ago they lived, how they might have died, and, if they’re not around today, how is it that we know they used to live on Earth? The answer: they left behind fossils!

Fossils can be an impression, like a footprint, or an egg, or bones. Today, we’re going to add some bones to our dinosaur display.

Using the big black paper from last week as a guide, the students measured and cut big dinosaur bones out of white paper, then arranged them into a skeleton.

Next week, we’ll finish up our display by adding some of the facts that we’ve learned this month about the dinosaurs!

Great job everyone!
