This month we are exploring the layers of the ocean.
This week we headed down to the Twilight Zone.
Our focus this Tuesday was on sharks.
Students were surpried to learn that sharks do not have bones.
“Feel the top of your ear. That’s what a shark’s body is made of.”
We added some of the information we learned about sharks to our wall mural.
Then it was time to become sharks ourselves.
Students added sharp teeth and bright eyes to their sharks.
Then it was time to show them off.
“I like sharks a lot.”
The layers of the ocean really do hold so many mysteries.
