ACCESS students learned how light travels and how the sun can make a rainbow. They discovered that rainbows form when light bends and splits into different colors.

Students then explored prisms and were amazed to see white light break into a spectrum.

The highlight was building their own spectroscopes and spotting tiny rainbows in the classroom.

When asked about their favorite rainbow color, the girls picked violet, and the boys chose red.
Which rainbow color is your favorite?
