At ACCESS, the students imagined a world without bugs. Since bugs play such an important role in carrying pollen, we asked: “What would happen to your favorite food if there were no bugs?”

“Then we can’t eat chocolate!” one gasped.

“No apples!” another added.

To bring the idea to life, the students used tweezers to pretend-rescue bugs from a web, carefully lifting them to safety. It was a fun way to learn that even the tiniest creatures keep our world (and our favorite foods!) going.
