This week, ACCESS students took a closer look at winter weather and how rain and snow are formed through the water cycle. The students learned the differences between snow, hail, and rain.

When asked what they enjoy doing in the snow, students shared their favorites:
- “I like to make snowmen and snowballs.”
- “I feel excited when it snows.”

Using clear jars filled with water, shaving cream for clouds, and blue food coloring to represent water droplets, students carefully observed how “rain” falls when clouds get too heavy.
As the blue coloring slowly seeped through the foam, one student exclaimed,“It looks like real rain!”
