As part of our ongoing theme on Japanese inventions, ACCESS took a deep dive into one of Japan’s most iconic contributions to pop culture—karaoke!
After learning about how karaoke machines were invented and how they’ve become a global sensation, the students couldn’t wait to try it out themselves. And try it they did—with lots of enthusiasm, laughter, and show-stopping performances!
The best part? Hearing what the students had to say:
“I feel like a real singer!” one student shouted, holding the mic with both hands like a pop star.
Another grinned and asked, “Can I sing two songs? Pleeease?”
