Our students had an amazing time experiencing mochi-tsuki, a traditional Japanese mochi-pounding activity! After learning how rice becomes soft, stretchy mochi, they took turns pounding while friends cheered them on.

The room was full of energy, teamwork, and big smiles. Afterward, everyone helped shape and taste fresh mochi — a first-time experience for many students and a very memorable one!

Hands-on cultural events like this help children connect with traditions while using English naturally with friends and teachers. Learning never tasted so good!
