This week, our students stepped into the world of early humans as we explored Stone Age homes and shelters in a fun, hands-on science and history lesson.

We learned about caves, pit houses, and even mammoth-bone structures, and talked about why people built their homes in different ways depending on the climate, safety, and available materials.

To bring history to life, we also explored how people decorated their homes by making natural paint using leaves, dirt, twigs, and water. Just like ancient cave artists, the children created their own Stone Age-style artwork, turning the classroom into a creative workshop full of curiosity and teamwork.
