This week we made puppets using colorful socks! We used lots, and lots, and lots of glue to add hair, eyes, and a mouth to make our own original characters.
“Blue puppet, blue hat!”
“We are ANGRY!”
“We are happy!”
Our puppets can open and close their mouths, so we practiced speaking using our new friends.
We made a little dialogue with a partner and then we recorded our conversations.
“What’s your name?”
“What are you doing?”
“How old are you?”
“What do you like?”
It was fun pretending with our puppets!
After we figured out what kind of puppets we had made, we wrote up a character profile of who are puppets are.
We wrote down things like what kind of job our puppets have, favorite things, and hobbies.
It’s nice finding a new best friend!
