Hello J2 Parents!

Writing:

Today the students practiced making their own currency (paper money). They wrote down three words that they would put on the bill, picked three original illustrations they individually came up with, and three colors. We also worked on finding out how to write/catch words that tell you that items are the same and items that are different. We practiced by talking about how tomatoes and strawberries are similar and different. They then had to create their own sentence of what was different.

Science:

This afternoon, the students continued their group work on the chameleon poster. They worked as a group deciding where to put certain pieces. Next, we’ll work on their sentences of everything that makes a chameleon interesting. Afterwards, we relaxed by watching a nature video of what makes smaller animals interesting and how important they are to the environment.

Have a wonderful evening!

Steve
